A Navy Systems Command is undergoing a multi-year initiative to account for all Operating Material and Supplies (OM&S) property to support achievement of Department of Defense and Department of Navy audit readiness goals and objectives and to ensure compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness auditability requirements. This Logistics Analyst Level II position is responsible for assisting the client in identifying material that needs to be moved to the new location, prepare the material for movement, verify identification of the material, move the material, and conduct fence line to fence line and wall-to-wall inventories to ensure the material and processes are auditable. The candidate will gather, track, and process material and records, reporting on quantities of on-hand materials, and updating the Navy accountable property system of record with accurate inventory data. The candidate will also identify material for disposition via eRMS and ETIDS. The position requires knowledge of the Navy’s business processes, physical inventory procedures, and experience processing supply chain transactions in Navy ERP. Since client has facilities across the continental U.S., the candidate will be required to travel extensively to the various locations within their designated region.

The position requires a BA or BS desired, high school diploma or equivalent required. At least 3 years of DoD material management, property management and accountability experience. At least 3 years OM&S material management, warehousing and storage experience. Knowledge of DoD OM&S processes and experience using Navy ERP/NALCOMIS/RSupply to process supply chain transactions. Prior military or DOD/Navy civilian experience. Ability to conduct accurate inventories and research the causes of inventory discrepancies. Ability to lift material (up to 50 pounds). Must be willing/able to travel to locations in the candidates designated region as needed by the client and to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
